WHAT A REDESIGN
COVERS

Most agencies treat a redesign as a visual exercise. The brand gets refreshed, the hero image changes, and you end up with a new skin over the same slow foundation. That is not what we do.

We audit the full site first: content, URL structure, performance, and what organic traffic exists. Then we rebuild on a stack that can support growth. Everything below is in every project.

  • Full content and architecture audit before we touch a single file
  • Migration from WordPress, Umbraco, Squarespace, or whatever you're leaving
  • New design in our custom illustration style, consistent across every page
  • Next.js rebuild: static, fast, no plugin dependencies
  • Schema markup, canonical tags, and sitemap architecture from day one
  • Mobile-first and responsive from 320px, tested on real devices before launch
  • Core Web Vitals compliance on launch day, not after a performance audit

HOW IT
WORKS

01

Discovery

One 60-minute call. We map what the site needs to do, who it serves, and what the current build gets wrong. That call drives everything that follows.

02

Design sprint

We produce a full design direction in your brand language, you review it once, and we refine once. The development brief comes from the same session. Nothing waits for another phase to close.

03

Next.js build

We build pages without themes, plugins, or CMS overhead. Any developer who can read TypeScript can read and extend what we ship.

04

Migration and launch

We move all your content, redirect old URLs to their new equivalents, and check every page before we push live.

WHY WE BUILD
IN NEXT.JS

WordPress and Umbraco generate your pages on each request. Your server runs PHP, queries the database, assembles HTML, and sends it. A well-optimised WordPress site loads in 1.5 to 2 seconds. The average one loads slower.

Next.js generates pages at build time. When someone hits your site, there is nothing to process. Pages serve as pre-built files and land in first contentful paint in 0.3 to 0.5 seconds. That difference shows in your Core Web Vitals scores, your bounce rate, and eventually your organic rankings.

HOW LONG
IT TAKES

Most website redesigns go from brief to launch in two to three weeks. Migrations from complex legacy platforms can run to four. If someone has quoted you six months, they are working from a process that made sense in a different decade.

WHAT IT
COSTS

Website redesigns start at $6,000. That covers discovery, design, full build, migration, and launch. Larger sites are quoted individually. We give you a fixed number before we start.

COMMON
QUESTIONS

How much does a website redesign cost?
Our redesigns start at $6,000. That covers the full discovery, design, build, migration, and launch. Larger sites with significant content or custom functionality are quoted individually. We give you a fixed number before we start. No scope changes after that, no surprises at invoice.
Can AI be used to redesign my website?
Yes, and it's central to how we work. We generate and extend a consistent custom illustration style using AI: the same characters and visual world across every page. Assets that take a traditional design studio three weeks to produce take us two days. Your site looks custom because it is. No other agency has built the same system.
What is the 3 second rule in website design?
The rule says visitors leave if a page takes more than three seconds to load. The sites we build hit first contentful paint in under half a second. That's not a target. Every Lighthouse report we run after a build shows it.
How long does a website redesign take?
Two to three weeks for most projects. Discovery, design, and development run in an integrated workflow. We don't queue design behind a separate discovery phase. Both start from the same brief in the same week.
What is the difference between a website redesign and a website rebuild?
We almost always do both at the same time. Putting a new design on a slow, plugin-dependent CMS still gives you a slow, plugin-dependent website. Separating the two means paying for the same work twice.
